how do i find the interior angle sum of a polygon?

OpenStudy (aravindg):

(n-2)*180

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Where n is number of sides.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (aravindg):

yw ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this time it gives me the angle sum. would i do n+2 X 180

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Sum=(n-2)*180 Solve for n.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how?

OpenStudy (er.mohd.amir):

(n-2)*180 where n is number of side for triangle n=3 side so sum of angle=(3-2)*180=1*180=180

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Just rearrange the equation for n.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 180* 2+n?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ill just put the question in

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Nope you need to separate n alone and take all other terms to the other side.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so n-2*180 +2 +2 n* 180 +2 ??
