@retirEEd help?

OpenStudy (retireed):

Does the first equation start with "x squared" ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (retireed):

Okay thanks let solve it first so I know what to do.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How would I solve it?

OpenStudy (phi):

you could graph both equations and see where they cross

OpenStudy (retireed):

First I would set the two equation equal to each other by eliminating the y

OpenStudy (phi):

or, use the 2nd equation in the form y= -8x+20 and replace y in the first equation with -8x+20

OpenStudy (retireed):

What phi said.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh I understand now thank you :)
