The first step I think would be to analyze how much a glass of juice costs individually and the same for the pancake special. Then you could set about making a system of equations.

Ok so it wants a system of equations
So the first step is two get two equations with two variables
It already gives you the variables of j and p
So what are the equations when the first instance says 3 glasses of orange juice and 5 pancakes are equal to $7.60
