the formula for the volume of a cone is v=1/3pir^2h. find the radius, to the nearest hundredth, of a cone with a height of 5 in. and a volume of 20in^3 3.82in 1.46in 1.95in 4.5in
For the first one the answer is no real roots because you can't have the square root of a negative number
see i thought so, so thats awesome i knew one
For the second one, cube roots can have only 1 sign ( positive or negative) unlike square roots( which have positive and negative) so that rules out A and B, from here it's just a matter of using a calculator to see that the cube root of - .000125 is -.05, So the answer is C
oh, okay
For the third one just treat 36 and g^6 as their own terms. So what's the square root of 36? Of g^6?
square root of 36 is 6
And of g^6? Or do you need help on that
idk how to do that
6g^3?
Ok so here's an example, what is the \[\sqrt{5^2}\]
Yep thats right so the answer is C
okay :)
Ok for the 4th one could you type it out using the equation formulator, I'm having some trouble understanding it?
