Its nearest the equator and tends to have water temperatures of ~30 degrees C. south africa furthur away from the equator (way down on the southern tip of Africa) and tends to have water temperatures ~20 degrees C. England is pretty far north and gets some cold water currents around it with temperatures ~10 degrees C. Washington is also fairly far north and tends to have water temperatures ~12 degrees C
