A car uses 1 liter of gas every 12 kilometers. How many meters can the car travel on 3 liters of gas? 36 meters 360 meters 3,600 meters 36,000 meters

OpenStudy (landon34):

i need some help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay math is not my best subject but lets see here if the car can travel 12 kilometers with 1 liter of gas than we know that in order to see how many kilometers the car will go with 3 liters we have to multiply

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its 36 meters

OpenStudy (landon34):

I think you are right.

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

\[12 \times 3 = 36\] Now we need to convert kilometers to meters: \[1~Kilometer = 1,000~Meters\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not possitive tho maybe Kendrick knows for sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ah see

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

\[36 ~Kilometers = 36,000 ~Meters\]

OpenStudy (landon34):

ok thanks, both of you give yourself a hand, you deserve it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah im pretty sure shes right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you guys help me on a history question

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
