3÷1/9
Do you know how to make 1/9 a decimal?
its 1 ÷ 9, can you do that?
Yes but I have to divide express each in simplest form
3÷1/9
\[\large 3 \div \frac{1}{9} = \frac{3}{1} \times \frac{9}{1} = \text{?}\] You have to multiply the divisor with the reciprocal of the dividend when there is a fraction as the dividend
then just multiply the numerators \((3 \times 9)\) just like how you would multiply normal fractions
\[\frac{ 3 }{ 1/9 } = \left(\begin{matrix}3 \\ 1\end{matrix}\right) \left(\begin{matrix}1 \\ 9\end{matrix}\right)\] \[\frac{ (3)(1) }{ (1)(9) }\] \[3 \times 1 = ?\] \[9 \times 1 = ?\] @cuttie33
Ok next 6÷1/8
use the same method!
Ok thx calculusy your the best
yw
thats one way but you could just make 1/9 0.1 then 3 ÷ 0.1 is 30 and is the same as 3/9 as 0.3 times 100
turn the number into a fraction so \[3/1\div1/9\]
Multiple. Express the product as a whole number or a mixed number in simplest form. 5 3/6 × 42
and since your dividing fraction you need to multiply and flip the sign, so \[3/1\times9/1\]
and it should give you 27
Show me with the problem
5×3/6 × 42
What do you need help? We already solved 3 / 1/9
