OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm sorry I'm bad at math :( Good luck tho c:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its okay @misty_fox

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ChantySquirrel1129** dis gurl loves math cx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know the answer but what do you think it is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nope.

rebeccaxhawaii (rebeccaxhawaii):

so you are gonna have 4 numbers so 50 x 4 which is 200 so they have to all add up to 200 therefore 200 - (20+30+50) = your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you add the 30, 50 and 20 you get 100. try adding the answers to 100 so example 100+ 40=140 140 divided by 4 is 35 so not B. the answer is D. 100 100 +100 =200 200 divided by 4 is 50 there you go

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Next time just try adding the answers and doing the work

rebeccaxhawaii (rebeccaxhawaii):

200 - 100 = 100 the missing number is 100

OpenStudy (anonymous):

d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh yeah its easier that way Rebecca lol I gave you a medal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah Gigi D :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one more question

rebeccaxhawaii (rebeccaxhawaii):

WHAT ARE THOSE

rebeccaxhawaii (rebeccaxhawaii):

jk what

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Rebecca no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its WAHT ARE THOOOOSEEEEE

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What* I failed xD

rebeccaxhawaii (rebeccaxhawaii):

oops sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the median of the data set {30,10,20,40} ? a.10 b.15 c.20 d.25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh wait median nvm okay which is in the middle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To find median you cross sides out until you find the middle ill show a example

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10 ,20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

15 would be it the middle of those

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No okay so the middle numbers are 10 and 20 so the answer has to be either 10 or 20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Take the biggest number thats what i Do the easy way

OpenStudy (anonymous):

20 C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one more

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wait on the last one you were right the median would be 15 so sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if there are two number you would find the mean. So 10+20 is 30 and 30 divided by 2 is 25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which one of the following data sets has more than one mode? a.{10,20,30,30,40,50,50} b.{10,20,30,40,50,70,70} c.{20,20,30,30,30,40,40} d.{10,20,30,40,50,60,70}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wait back to the last one 30 divided by 2 is 15 YOU WERE RIGHT ITS NOT 20 IT WAS 15 LOL

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Woah caps sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it okay either way I cant find out the answer till sumbit the assingment

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay just make sure you change your answer on the last one to 15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which one of the following data sets has more than one mode? a.{10,20,30,30,40,50,50} b.{10,20,30,40,50,70,70} c.{20,20,30,30,30,40,40} d.{10,20,30,40,50,60,70} Answer is A. Mode is the one with the most of the same number in a set 30,30 50,50 are both the mode

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one more last one

OpenStudy (iluvsoccer):

One question per post. This way everyone will get an equal chance to get medals. :P It's also one of OpenStudy's policies. :)
