Need help please Which sentence has an unclear or missing pronoun antecedent? A. Fred wants a 10-speed bicycle for his birthday. B. James called the emergency number, but she never answered. C. I think he has accidentally put his shirt on backwards. D. My sister donated some of her clothes that no longer fit to charity. I'm thinking B because they never made it clear how the emergency call thing could be a her. If that makes any sense? Not sure though

Have any ideas about what the answer might be?

OpenStudy (owlcoffee):

http://grammar.ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/pronouns.htm It is most basic that a pronoun is a previous described context of a text or story, thereby making clear a current event or context. That of course does not make permissible my expression: "When I woke up, I met her". Without telling you who "her" is.

So in short, I'm correct?

OpenStudy (owlcoffee):

Yes.
