if im 13, home alone, in sc and someone breaks in my house, i call 911 and tell them where i am and in the meantime they assault me is it legal for me to stab them with a legal knife thats about as long as my hand including fingers?

If they assault you, it's considered self defense for you to stab them. I also believe it would be legal if they assault you or not because they did break into your house which is illegal, and you felt like you were in danger.

It's like how some states have laws that if someone is on your property, you can shoot them if you'd like for trespassing.
