What is the area of the figure made up of a parallelogram and a right triangle?

Just find the area of the parallelogram and triangle separately and add the two together.
The formula for parellelogram is same as that of a rectangle I think. Length * Width
The formula for triangle is 1/2 * base * height
Add the two together and tada!
