why monochromatic light is use in young double slit experiment

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

Welcome to Open Study !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

Coming back to your question, To study interference of light like bright spot ,we use only one kind of light . Suppose , if there would be a beam of light, how can we study interference of light so deeply because many lights interfere and we can't predict where is bright spot. That is why we use MONOCHROMATIC LIGHT.

ok

what is relationship between workdone and voltage?

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

Work done = Heat produced \[\large \bf Work~done=\frac{V^2}{R}\]

if we increase length of cable will it effect resistivity?

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

Can you tell me resistivity depend upon which parameters ?

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

Okay,I will guide you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

No it does not. Resistivity is the property of a material. It does not depend on length and diameter.Resistivity is constant . But the resistance will depend on length and diameter.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

You can reward me by giving me MEDAL. You have to do is click BEST RESPONSE flashing right side to my response.

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

Good :D Keep Studying and have fun !
