Can I search an archive of past questions asked on OS?
@Jaynator495 made a search tool i can't seem to find it however if you copy and paste your question into google you might get lucky and find an OS link with the same question :-)
Ah, too bad. Pitty not have some kind of an archive. I was viewing a question in Math yesterday and would like to revisit it. There is no way for me to find it now.
Do you remember what it was? Or the user who asked it?
it was about evaluating an expression tanA + tanB with a few givens along with it. Just wanted to see it again. How would I go about finding it?
i don't recall the username
hmm let me see if i can find it
cool. but please let me know how you do it ... if I can do it myself
because I often want to find past posts
This? http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/569b1ca6e4b01480c280484c I scrolled down the closed questions :P
Great this is the one.
yay! ^_^
do you have any other tricks/recommendations to find older stuff - like what if it wasn't closed, and older than, say, few days? any chances?
ooh i found something >:D http://goo.gl/MgYIc After "site:openstudy.com" type in the question
Neat - thanks @pooja195!
yw ^_^
That's a handy resource Jaynator, thanks.

Thanks @Jaynator495 . It seems this feature would really be a powerful addition to the OS site, fully integrated. There are so many repeating patterns - I can imagine tons of questions are directly answerable by retrieval of archived stuff.
http://ultrilliam.com/google-store/ this is a extension i made for openstudy. Eventually ill implement a faster version of these search tools into it.
