Any one help me ? What number must each side of the equation 3/5=12 be multiplyed by to produce the equivalent equation x=20?

it assume it is actually \[\frac{3}{5}x=12\] right?

to solve that, multiply by the "reciprocal" of \(\frac{3}{5}\) i.e flip it
