False, phenotypes are what makeup the physical traits, the geneotype is what makes up the genetic makeup or code. Something can often times look the same and something else, but have a completely different geneotype
For example, you could have 4 tall pea plants. All of them would have the same phenotypes because they are all TALL, and not all of them would have the same geneotype, some could have a different alleles, like TT or Tt

Agreed, it would be false. In the context of evolution, it would occur with variations of phenotypes/genotypes because the traits that help organisms to best adapt to their environment would successfully breed and pass on those specific traits.
