Absolute values have 2 solutions 1 positive and 1 negative so..
Solve both for x
\[\huge~\rm~\bf~\color{purple}{x-3=1}\]
\[\huge~\rm~\bf~\color{green}{x-3=-1}\]

thanks! also is there a way on this site where you would be able to show me how to graph them? if i remember correctly its not link porabolas, and its something like a V ? i dont remember..
