Hello how do you guys perceive the american society in your own opinion and how it is today?
Do you think you could help me?
The American society today is not the American Society known in the past. For instance, technology has taken over American lives and does the jobs most people did back in the day. For example people who used to check electric meters for houses all lost their jobs because a computer was built to do the work for them. Parenting has changed a lot too. Less babies are born which means generations with fewer siblings then the generation before. However, the people bearing those children are usually younger. This is anywhere between 16 and 21. Parenting a child has also changed. Back in the day it was acceptable to spank or give the belt to a child to put them in place. Now it is labeled as abuse. Technology is probably the biggest factor in American Society. That and obesity.
In my perspective, society is more about the individual. Doing what feels right to you and what you think is right. There are people that still do seriously consider what others think, but, they are usually older. Now, it is more about having an openmind. Being open to all the different ideas and perspectives. Everyone is different, with their own views and society respects that or at least trys to.
