Experimental procedure isn't my forte, sorry friendo. Intuitively, I would think the bags are the subjects, the temperature is the factor, the treatment is the increase of said temperature, and the response is how the seals reacted to the difference in temperature, BUT this is just my opinion and I could be wrong. tl;dr take everything I said with a pinch of salt and get a second opinion.
