Industrial electromagnets range from a variety of strengths, from magnetizing tiny pieces of iron fillings and other small ferrous materials to attracting and moving old cars in junkyards.

Of course, electromagnets are not only for industrial uses. They help people out in daily and household uses. For example, people might use a small handheld electromagnet to pick up some tacks they spilled.
