HELP ASAP!!!!! I will fan + medal the best helper!!! I have 2 questions. 1. I need about a page and a half worth of background research on electromagnets. This information should include who invented it, when was it invented, how has it changed industry over the years, and how to build it. Here is what I have so far: An English physicist and inventor named William Sturgeon invented the first artificial electromagnet in 1824. Ever since then, electromagnets became a major part of people’s lives. From making everyday necessities easier to making impossible or extremely difficult industrial tasks possible and easy, electromagnets have really changed people’s lives, enhancing them. Different electromagnets qualify for different jobs, depending on their strength and the strength needed for the job. They are particularly useful when used in industries where they can sort materials and deposit those materials in the desired location simply by shutting off the current. Industrial electromagnets range from a variety of strengths, from magnetizing tiny pieces of iron fillings and other small ferrous materials to attracting and moving old cars in junkyards. Of course, electromagnets are not only for industrial uses. They help people out in daily and household uses. For example, people might use a small handheld electromagnet to pick up some tacks they spilled.
