is the 1/5 stating that gerri has completed the half way point already? may I ask what day of the week is it as well if it is monday and she only has til friday than I would assume you have for more work days to go etc if it is already thursday you might just double the work and have 2/5 i'm not sure how to answer the question

well ive been trying to get back to you but my computer had a melt down my apologies :) ok well is you look at the problem as if gerri did part of the problem every day at 1/5 and its 5 days in a week 1/5 * 5 is 1 whole so if she need to be half way done by Friday the answer would probably be B
