equation 1: \(x+y=6\) equation 2: \(x=y+2\) from 2nd equation we know that \(x=\color{red}{y+2}\) substitute this value of \(x\) in equation 1 we will get this-> \(x+y=6\) substituting value of \(x\) we got \((\color{red}{y+2})+y=6\)
