Compoun inequalities!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

563blackghost (563blackghost):

First simplify the first inequality which is...\[4x+15\ge-9\]We would first get the number 15 to the other side... so we would subtract 15 from the left side and what we do to one side we do to the other so we would -15 from the other side....\[4x+15-15\ge-9-15\]

So does that mean its c?

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Correct ^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Woo! Can you help with the second one

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Alrighty xD we have \[|4x+3|=3\]Now to get our answer would would make a positive and a negative equation meaning...\[4x+3=3\]and\[4x+3=-3\] So we would now simplify them both ^^

Hope this helped but I gtg byeee ^^
