Trig? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What are the sine, cosine, and tangent of Θ = 7 pi over 4 radians?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't necessarily need the answer, but more how to solve questions like so.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\theta= \frac{ 7 \pi }{ 4 }= \left( 2 \pi-\frac{ \pi }{ 4 } \right)\] \[hence ~\theta~lies~\in~4th~quadrant.\] in 4th quadrant cos and sec are positive . All other t-ratios are negative.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sin \frac{ 7 \pi }{ 4 }=\sin \left( 2\pi-\frac{ \pi }{ 4 } \right)=-\sin \frac{ \pi }{ 4 }=?\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

similarly cos and tan

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm sorry, I don't understand any of it.
