Do you agree with Aristotle that all activities aim toward some end or goal? List an example and a counter example.
I don't know if I'll be able to help you with a counterexample, but I have a couple of examples to offer you. For example, sports. A lot of people feel like the end goal would be to win, but what if it's not? What if the end goal is to prove that a group of people is capable of working together and having good team work. Or what about art? What's the end to that? Making art that will be appreciated and praised by others? Or maybe it's actually expression. Maybe the goal to art is just to give yourself an outlet to expression. One more example, what would be the end goal to having a job? Getting paid. But why? It isn't necessarily to buy whatever you want or splurge out on yourself. There are tons of people who want to get paid simply to pay for necessities.
