2.) solve the system of equations by elimination
3x+4y=31
2x-4y=-6

The first one should be (-8, 2). The main reason is because -4y for x in the equation, and then you simplify both sides of the equation to get 2. Then, you do the same, again, but backwards. This time, you do x = -4y and put 2 in for y, and solve to get -8 :).
