How are exponential and linear functions alike? How are they different?

they're alike because they both have the same constant rate as they increase also you cant change the slope or exponent after graphing up a graph.

but the difference is that a linear function grows ( or shrinks) at a constant rate called its slope and a exponential function grows ( or shrinks) at a rate which increases(or decreases)
