OpenStudy (sweetburger):

I need help with epsilon delta limit proofs. find the limit Then use the E-d definition to prove that the limit is L. limx-->1 (x^2+1)

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

lim x--> 1 (x^2+1) = 2 let e>0 find d>0 so that 0<|x-c|=|x-1|<d then |f(x)-L|=|x^2+1-2|< E suppose |(x^2+1)-2|=|x^2-1|=|x-1||x+1|<E so now i have |x-1| < E/|x+1|
