Can someone help me with a question please? I believe it is A or D, but I'm not 100% sure.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not 100% but I agree with your A.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I agree

OpenStudy (liv1234):

@jigglypuff314 Can you help?

OpenStudy (liv1234):

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

A polynomial function has no restrictions on x. Any real number can be used as x. The domain is all real numbers. For the range, you need to see which y values are valid. Graph the function, or use technology to graph the function and see what the lowest y value is.

OpenStudy (liv1234):

Once I do that, I'll let you know what I get.

OpenStudy (liv1234):

@mathstudent55 I graphed the function, and I got the coordinates of (0,3) and (1,2)

OpenStudy (liv1234):

The y values would be 2 and 3.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

What is the lowest y-coordinate in the graph of the function?

OpenStudy (liv1234):

2?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Yes. That means the range is all real number, 2 or higher.

OpenStudy (liv1234):

So, the answer would be A?
