Can I get some help please? :/ A store is having a sale on chocolate chips and walnuts. For 7 pounds of chocolate chips and 9 pounds of walnuts, the total cost is $35. For 5 pounds of chocolate chips and 3 pounds of walnuts, the total cost is $19. Find the cost for each pound of chocolate chips and each pound of walnuts. I need to find the cost for each pound of chocolate chips and the cost for each pound of walnuts. I'm not sure how to find the answers.

This being algebra, your first task should be to choose letters of the alphabet to represent the unit cost (per pound) of the walnuts and of the chocolates. Here, unit costs would have the units of measurement dollars / pound. If this person bought 2 lb. of walnuts, what would the cost be for that quantity? Remember: Total cost = (unit cost)(# of pounds).

You could, for example, choose the letter "w" represent the unit cost of walnuts.
