OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do i see it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry it was taking a bit to load

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok 1 sec and ill try and help you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@lillepet what you do is look at the graph and look where x = -2 and its asking for the value of the function at that point. so you value at x = -2 would be -3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the answer is -3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks so much

OpenStudy (anonymous):

......can you help on mine

OpenStudy (anonymous):

np

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya @OTAKUSUCKSATMath im trying it out now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay thanks I Keep getting 42 ........and its suppsoed to be lower then 24 O_O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What you would do is set up a proportion so we can make it x / 8 = 24 / (8 + 12) do you follow so far?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay so I thought it would be more along the lines of x/8 =24-x/12?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That would be harder to use because we dont know that value of x and by using that equation we are adding another x into it. If you use the equation that i put up there you can just cross multiply and find the value of x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay 9.6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

correct. If you have any other questions just tag me and ill try to get back you as soon as possible

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OKAY THANK YOU
