OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh you are welcome

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's an image ? Do you see it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope i haven't seen it yet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Steven was given the function, f(x) =0.95^4t and asked to determine the rate of change and the type of exponential function. What is the best way for Steven to describe the function? Here so sorry :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so what do u think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The rate of change is 5% and represents exponential growth. ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay am sorry can i see the picture of the question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay never mind rate of change is also the slope of a graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay since it says the rate of change that means it is going down to what

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have no idea ..

OpenStudy (danjs):

f(x) = (0.95)^(4x) when x=0, you have f(x) = 1, the initial value x=1 , you have 0.814 x=2, 0.663 each time you increase a unit for X, the previous value will be multiplied by 0.95^4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you !

OpenStudy (danjs):

f(x) = 1*(0.95)^(4x) = 1 * [0.95^4] ^x

OpenStudy (danjs):

= [0.8145]^x

OpenStudy (danjs):

welcome
