remember, the formula to this i believe is a^2+b^2=c^2, that should give you something to go by

ok thanks. I used the pythagorean theorem and got to c=16 with square root of 3, but I don't really know what to do from there.

honestly its been ages sense iv done something like this, i don't remember all the steps to this anymore sorry, try tagging some of the online people, they may be able to help you better than i can.
