which of the following is true of a semiconservative model of replication -each newly synthesized double helix of DNA contains one new strand and one old strand. -DNA synthesized involves conserving only part of each od the original strands in a DNA molecule. -the original DNA molecule is stored in the cell nucleus and severs as a template for creating copies containing two new strands. -DNA synthesis involves conserving one strand of a double helix of DNA and discarding the other. I think its last one but im not sure. will medal and fan you!

OpenStudy (lizardman449):

Semiconservative replication means that the DNA double helix strand, on replication, produces two double-stranded DNA helices. Each one has an original DNA helix strand and one new synthesized DNA helix strand.

like lizardman449 says, the meaning of "semi-" is containing half old and half new!
