Which shows three ordered pairs that are all solutions of the equation y = x + 4? A. (1, 4), (2, 6), and (3, 7) B. (1, 4), (2, 8), and (3, 12) C. (3, 7), (5, 9), and (7, 10) D. (3, 7), (5, 9), and (7, 11)

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

Plug each ordered pair to the equations and see if it checks. Example : pluging (1,4) -> 4 = 1 + 4 so 4 = 5 which is not true, so the ordered pair (1,4) isn't a solution. For an option to be correct, all the ordered pairs must be solutions !
