I'm in a school that has several different programs. I happen to be in the tech/computer program. We're currently learning flash animation, basically moving art flip book style. Here's where this falls into writing. I have been asked to write an artist statement, and am FREAKING OUT. I'm not an artist! I can't draw for my life, unless it's in flash or traced!

That's not the problem though. I don't actually have any art pieces. I believe an artist statement is where you write about things like, "what inspired your art?" Or "what techniques do you use in your art?"

Alright! I am an artist so don't fret! You don't have to have like, years of experience to be able to create an artists statement!

You can be a starter, and explain how you got interested in art or what interests you the most in that subject!!
