OpenStudy (curry):

is it asking for percent of change as in how much it is changed?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i hve no idea

OpenStudy (curry):

hhm, assuming my interpretation, it would be 1 - 30/66. the '1' signifies the total. 30/66, signifies how much is remaining. And (1 - 30/66)% gives you how much has been reduced.

OpenStudy (danjs):

(Change in value) is what percent of the original value? Change --- (Original - New) is --- = what percent -- x/100 of -- * original -- original \[(66-30) = \frac{ X }{ 100 }*66\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=600/11

OpenStudy (yttrium):

I can agree to @DanJS

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so whats the final answer?

OpenStudy (danjs):

100*(66-30)/66

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(Decimal: 54.545455)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what the the best way to write that as the nerest 10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nerest percent i mean

OpenStudy (anonymous):

54.5?

OpenStudy (danjs):

round to nearest percent,,, 54.5, roud up with the 0.5 to 55%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

54.5 so this one its my final answer?

OpenStudy (danjs):

no it says round to the nearest percent... a whole number 54.5 rounds to 55

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks bro

OpenStudy (curry):

which is the same as 1 - 30/66...
