Same answer to DelTaVsPi. I could provide you the steps on how to get the answer, if you want.

OpenStudy (crashonce):

expand and simplify top and bottom @DelTaVsPi we dont give answers we explain

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Look at the problem. 1. In a multiplication of several factors, an even number of negative signs gives a positive answer. There are 2 negative signs, so the answer is positive. From now on, ignore the signs since we know the answer is positive. 2. The last factor is 1. The multiplicative identity property of 1 is that if you multiply a number by 1, you get that number. Since multiplication by 1 does not change the answer, ignore the last factor of 1. 3. Notice the two fractions, 3/4 and 4/3. They are reciprocals, so they multiply to 1. Once again, since multiplying by 1 does not alter the answer, just drop the fractions. 4. What is left is simply 8x * 4y. 5. Multiply the coefficients 8 * 4. then multiply the variables x and y.
