Describe how the graph of y= x2 can be transformed to the graph of the given equation. y = (x - 12)^2 - 14 Shift the graph of y = x2 right 12 units and then up 14 units. Shift the graph of y = x2 right 12 units and then down 14 units. Shift the graph of y = x2 down 12 units and then left 14 units. Shift the graph of y = x2 left 12 units and then down 14 units.

When it is inside the parenthesis the transformation is horizontal When it is outside the parenthesis the transformation is vertical When it is -14 outside it means 14 units down When it is -12 inside the parenthesis it means 12 units right So the answer will be Shift the graph of y = x2 right 12 units and then down 14 units Hope I helped :)
