OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

So the limit of f (x) = (2x)/(x-3) DNE?

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

As x---> 3

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

There is a vertical asymptote at x=3

OpenStudy (danjs):

it may or may not, what does the function do on either side of 3

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

Idk I'd say it doesn't because the limit from the right does not equal the limit from the left although we are talking about infinity and neg infinity which os basically not a limit?

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

Like not a number

OpenStudy (danjs):

if both the left and right limits approached the same thing, that is the limit

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

Ohh ok even if it were infinity? (It's assumed the limit DNE if a function approaches infinit right?)
