Which Danish immigrant photographed immigrant life to make people aware of the problems immigrants faced? A. Mark Twain B. Jacob Riis C. William Tweed D. Joseph Pulitzer

OpenStudy (zesty):

Hey! What do you think it is? Just guess.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Zesty D?

OpenStudy (zesty):

Joseph Pulitzer was a Hungarian-born American newspaper publisher of the St. Louis Post Dispatch and the New York World. Do you still think it is D?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No but idk who it is

OpenStudy (zesty):

Ok, let me tell you who each of them are, and then you decide. :) Mark Twain wrote The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and its sequel, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, the latter often called "The Great American Novel". Jacob Riis was a Danish-American social reformer, "muckraking" journalist and social documentary photographer. Joseph Pulitzer was a Hungarian-born American newspaper publisher of the St. Louis Post Dispatch and the New York World. William Tweed often erroneously referred to as William Marcy Tweed, and widely known as "Boss" Tweed – was an American politician most notable for being the "boss" of Tammany Hall. It's up to you.
