Help me please? I'll medal. "Women in the nineteenth century had the responsibilities but not the rights of citizenship." Which statement supports this claim? A. Women could be arrested but could not ask for a jury trial. B. Women had to obey the law but could not express their opinions in writing. C. Women had to serve on juries but could not run for office. D. Women had to pay taxes but could not vote. I have no idea what the answer would be for this one...maybe D?

OpenStudy (zesty):

@jabez177 Do you think you can help me again?

jabez177 (jabez177):

D is right because during those times Women were not allowed to vote, only men. Susan B. Anthony was one of the Woman that worked tirelessly for women's suffrage.

Thanks so much! @jabez177
