yes.  It sounds like they taught a lesson on what "things" to know so that you can sketch a polynomial.  I don't think you have studied calculus (which teaches how to do this), I guess they taught only a few things.  Off hand, I don't know what they expect to know.

But definitely end-behavior
maybe where the curve crosses the x-axis
maybe where it has a max or min value.
