Need help please! Ethan needs to order T-shirts for all the members. Each T-shirt costs $15 and the shipping fee for the order is $9.99. (a) Write an equation showing the total cost, y, for an order of x T-shirts. (b) Ethan has $500 allocated in the club’s budget for T-shirt orders. How many T-shirts can Ethan order with this amount? Show your work and explain your answer. My equation came out as: 15t+9.99=500 (I just want to make sure that's correct before I solve it)
looks good to me
@phi what do u think?
@UsukiDoll
@AihberKhan
ok, except for part a) you should use y instead of 500 in part b, you can replace y with 500
@phi I got 32.67, I don't know if i'm correct
@KendrickLamar2014
Yep for A) 15t+9.99=y and to solve for b) 15t+9.99=500 It will come out to the decimal place, but you cant but .67 of a shirt. So it would be 32.
don't forget to fan :)
Ok holdon 1. (c) There are 45 members in the club. How much money would Ethan need in order to purchase each member 1 T-shirt? Show your work. Whole question
