I am doing a practice ( it counts for 0% ) and I am so confused on how to do this problem, I have looked and gone over my book so many times. Will someone help explain it to me?

well you need to know the diagonals bisect each other.... that's a property of a parallelogram so QT = TS or x + 2 = y Equation 1 and PT = TR or 2x = y + 4 Equation 2 so substitute equation 1 into equation 2 and solve for x. then when you get x, substitute it into equation 1 to find y. hope it helps

I understood that they equaled each other, I just don't understand how to substitute them together
