The equation of a line is y = 3. Write an equation in slope-intercept form of a line parallel to y = 3 that passes through (0, 6). x = 3 x = 6 y = 3x y = 6

OpenStudy (gollywolly):

Y=3 is just a horizontal line at a height of 3. A line that is parallel must also be horizontal. If it passes through the point (0,6) then it must just be y=6.
