Question

Does anyone know how to decide whether the use of a pronoun in relation to its antecedent is correct or incorrect?
And can someone explain how you can tell?

1) I like working at the store because I meet so many people.

2) Aunt Edith is a painter, but neither of her daughters likes it.

3) I enjoy jogging every day because in this way I get regular exercise.

4) I would rather play chess than backgammon because it is more challenging.
