Consider the logarithmic equation f(x) = ln (x + 2) – 1 . Round all values to the tenths place. (a) Determine any x- and y-intercepts. (b) Determine the domain and the equation of the vertical asymptote. (c) Make a table of values to find three other points on the graph. (d) Graph the function. Label the three points you found in Part (c).
If I were doing this problem, I would start with (c) then try to find the intercepts (a), then figure out the domain (b) the asypmtote will become obvious ans then graph the function. Do you have a calculator to make the X Y table?
Later...
No I don't have a calculator to make a table.
@retirEEd
Does your computer have Excel from Microsoft?
No it doesn't maybe I can install it @retirEEd
no it cost money. How are you communicating the the internet? What type of device are you using. computer, tablet, phone or other (i.e. like telepathically)
Computer @retirEEd
Most computers have a built in calculator function ans most have two types one of which is scientiific. or you can go on-line and google "scientific calculator" and get access to a calculator there.
I guess link attaching is automatic.
I have to go right now and walk Duke. He is looking at me funny right now. Later
Okay thanks @retirEEd
