So what I always say is that they are trying to trick you. You have to disassemble the word problem then re-assemble it. So our key words are four, less then and half. So it sasy that the number of carrots is 4 less then (which is minus) half of the number of peas. And when It say 2p that means multiplication because you can write multiplication as x, . or nothing at all. So now try to figure it out. Just let me know if you still don't understand. :D I just learned about this in class today. XD
