jabez177 (jabez177):

A "diamond" is a quadrilateral, but there technically isn't a polygon called a "diamond" Technically speaking a "diamond" is either a square or rhombus turned 45 degrees, which is why many people think they are a different shape. If a quadrilateral has four congruent angles it's called a rectangle. If a quadrilateral has four congruent sides it's called a rhombus. If it has congruent angles and sides it's called a square. These things are true regardless of the shape's orientation (how it's turned or rotated).

jabez177 (jabez177):

Polygons are many-sided figures, with sides that are line segments. Polygons are named according to the number of sides and angles they have. The most familiar polygons are the triangle, the rectangle, and the square. A regular polygon is one that has equal sides. am I right? :/

jabez177 (jabez177):

Does this polygon have equal sides first of all?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes

jabez177 (jabez177):

Incorrect, it doesn't. So that means your answer will start with, "The polygon is not regular." Now which one do you think is your answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b

jabez177 (jabez177):

Good. :)

thx
