Need help from anyone that knows geometry.

@wolf1728

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Okay, I'd say the 6 sides are 6 feet by 11 making the area 6 * 11 * 6 sides = 396 square feet Now that leaves the area of the hexagon

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

I forgot the formula :(

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Each of the 12 triangles measure 9.5 by 5.5 feet So the area of each triangle equals 9.5*5.5/2 = 26.125 square feet Multiply that by 12 and hexagon area = 313.5 square feet

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

313.5 is the total surface area?

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

That's the area of the bottom - the hexagon area And you need area of the sides right? that's 396 sq feet. So 396 + 313.5 = 709.5 sq feet

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

Thank you so much, wolf!!

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

u r welcome

OpenStudy (triciaal):

glad you were helped. Did not see the question.
